Creative Coast Club – Art, Play, Nature, Yoga and Seaside Exploration at Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock, near Bridport.
There is a HIVE of activity happening down on the beach this summer, so why not become a Creative Coast Explorer with the National Trust and join in the fun!
Most Wednesdays through the summer holidays (and one FRIDAY !) the National Trust, at Hive Beach, has a range of creative, fun and coastal based activities for children, young people and families (of any shape and size) to enjoy.
Sessions are FREE and people are encouraged to just turn up and have fun. No booking required. Please use times shown in the text below.
Sessions are most Wednesdays and one Friday 28th August, and please note that start times vary due to the need to work with the tide. Sessions are drop in so arrive at any point but at least half an hour before the end time shown.
Details of each Creative Coastal Club are below:
29th July 8.30am – 10.00am – Moth morning investigation. Get up early and join us to see what moths we have found. Help us record and then safely release them. Then enjoy some Virtual Reality fun with our VR headsets as you fly over the Jurassic Coast.
5th August – 2pm -4pm Get creative with found & recycled materials. Under supervision children will have fun with all kinds of tools and let their imaginations run wild with the things they can create and invent.
12th August 1.30pm – 3.30pm -Art, Movement and Yoga with Leah and Rowan Beecham – Yoga & Art on the beach.
19th August 1.30pm – 3.30pm – with Oops Wow Messy Art & Rowan get creative and messy on the beach.
28th August (Friday) – 2pm -4pm Get creative with found & recycled materials. Under supervision children will have fun with all kinds of tools and let their imaginations run wild with the things they can create and invent.
2nd September 1.30 – 3.30 – with Oops Wow & Thriving Wild – Art & Nature Play.
