Join Messy Paws this summer for a series of free zine-making workshops for children aged 5–11.
Zines are small, handmade magazines that combine drawing, collage, storytelling, and simple bookmaking. These fun and creative sessions introduce children to the world of self-publishing in an accessible and playful way, encouraging them to express their ideas, try something new, and build confidence in their creativity.
Each workshop will begin with a short introduction to zine-making, with examples of artist-made zines for inspiration. Children will then create their own original zines using a range of creative materials and techniques.
What to Expect:
Free drop-in workshop (no booking required)
Suitable for children aged 5–11
All materials and equipment provided
Children will create and take home their own handmade zine
