MusicMakers are structured, yet low-demand music workshops for neurodivergent children and those who require a little extra support. It includes two age-specific groups run back-to-back: MiniMusicMakers (ages 4–8) and MidiMusicMakers (ages 8–12). Sessions offer a safe, sensory-aware environment where participants explore sound, rhythm, singing and music technology through playful, collaborative activities.
The focus is on access, enjoyment and participation rather than performance, supporting creativity, confidence, social connection and emotional wellbeing.
All instruments will be provided (but please bring your own if you want to).
For children aged 11 and under, a parent/carer will need to stay in the BYCC during the workshop.
MiniMusicMakers (children aged 4-8): 10-11am MidiMusicMakers (children aged 8-12): 11.15am-12.15pm
Just a reminder the session could get quite loud so bring ear defenders (if required)
